Academic excellence of any Institution depends upon its 'Associates'- Faculty and Staff members. It is therefore of utmost importance that due care is taken in hiring of its Associates with adequate qualification, requisite experience and who can take the institution to its ultimate goal.

VCTM follows the prevailing UGC norms & recommendation of AICTE pay commission for ascertaining qualifications and experience related to recruitment, promotion and salary scale for its Associates. In order to attract excellent faculty from IITs, NITs and other reputed institutions, The Institution offers special packages which are at par with best Universities in the country.

We at VCTM always encourage research & creativity and continously motivate our faculty to undertake various research projects and / or publish their articles in reputed journals by providing them all the assistance be it financial or otherwise.


To fill the various categories of vacancies, applications are invited from the eligible candidates by way of advertisement in leading newspapers. All applications are screened thoroughly and the short-listed candidates are interviewed by a selection committee appointed for the purpose.

Based on the qualifications, experience and suitability of the candidate, the selected candidates for various vacancies may be placed on pay scale or on consolidated salary with allowances.

All employees will be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining with VCTM, extendable to another one year, if required.

ACADEMIC STAFF: Roles & Duties

  • To consolidate and maintain high academic quality of international standard.
  • To coordinate in smooth conduct of the examination/ internal tests/ practicals/ disciplinary matters.
  • To ensure the facilities such as labs, library and resource centers are of high quality and well-maintained.
  • To ensure effective and efficient conduct of the academic session. The Academic Staff shall continuously add value to the students by improved methods of teaching, upgrading study material, periodic tests and evaluation etc.
  • To participate in Co-curricular & Extra-curricular Activities and to carry out any additional responsibility as assigned by the seniors.
  • To pursue research & development activities and research guidance.
  • To participate in various student related activities like Training & Placement, Value Added Programs, etc.

Leaves: The College promotes a healthy work-life balance by providing adequate number of leaves in the form of Casual, Earned, Medical, maternity, academic leave, half day, short leave etc.
